カタカナ基礎:カ行
Click each character, listen, and imitate the sound. Then cover the romaji and retrieve it from memory.
Pronunciation focus
Notice the extra lower stroke in ケ compared with ク. Keep the angular printed forms clear. Compare standard print with careful handwriting; decorative font details are not new strokes.
Form and handwriting
- カ: two strokes; keep the right stroke separate.
- キ: three strokes; two horizontals cross the long diagonal.
- ク: two strokes forming an open angle.
- ケ: three strokes; the extra short left stroke distinguishes it from ク.
- コ: two parallel cornered strokes.
Write each character slowly three times, then once from memory. Compare structure and stroke direction rather than decorative font thickness.
Mixed retrieval
The practice screen mixes roughly 70% current targets with 30% characters from mastered earlier groups. Practise both directions: character to sound and sound to character.
Mastery task
Complete recognition, listening and active recall practice. Each mode requires at least five attempts and 80% accuracy. Review the group again tomorrow before treating it as stable knowledge.
