ラーメンをひとつおねがいします。
おちゃをにはいください。

ひとつ／ふたつ are useful general counters. Use いっぱい／にはい for cups or servings of drinks.

Respond to ごちゅうもんは？ and いじょうですか. いただきます and ごちそうさまでした express appreciation around a meal.

Order two items with suitable counters, answer a confirmation and understand the total.

Build it: item + を + quantity + お願いします

When to use it: The quantity can be omitted when context is clear.
