Past plain form + ことがあります expresses experience; it does not identify a specific occasion.

A：京都に行ったことがありますか。
B：はい、二回行ったことがあります。お寺を見ました。

Build: Have you eaten sushi? Then adapt it with your own information and say it aloud.

Open the kana only when you need help reading the lesson's core Japanese.

A：きょうとにいったことがありますか。 B：はい、にかいいったことがあります。おてらをみました。

Target sentence Show kana

すしをたべたことがありますか。

Meaning: Describe whether an experience has occurred.

Build it: past plain verb + ことがあります

When to use it: Use this for general experience, not a dated event report.
